But yes, you will need to put cats on the car preferably with a stock exhaust (though it's not 100% mandatory, no matter what he says as long as it's under 95db). As for the rest, that's going to be tough. If it specifically says dual intake or modified intake, you'll have to switch that to a K&N (carb legal) or stock temporarily. As for the AFC/AVC-R or whatever, you'll have to hide those better or remove them for a bit. I've seen people pass inspection with the hoses black, the actuator semi-hidden (stickers off) and the units in the glove box (locked of course) or somewhere else hidden. You mainly don't want them up on the dash where they can be a "distraction to other drivers" (yeah I know, lame). You may also talk to member SmurfZ or do a search on it. Some others have had to go through similar things. It's the ONE reason I'm glad my engine bay is back to stock with my newer Z...everything else I can easily get by on.
